120 years of SGH – shared history, shared future

SGH Warsaw School of Economics is the oldest economics university in Poland. This year, we are celebrating a milestone anniversary, during which we are commemorating our history and tradition, as well as exemplifying the values of our Alma Mater: truth, professionalism, integrity, respect and cooperation.

Warsaw, the capital of Poland, is a vibrant, modern city famous for its rich history, beautiful parks, delicious cuisine and safety. SGH Warsaw School of Economics, the best business school in the country, is located in the heart of the city, in the Mokotów district. Discover Warsaw in the companionship of international students from around the world. Establish lifelong connections and explore opportunities for cooperation with our university.

It’s worth mentioning that our university gain the Triple Crown Accreditations, which refer to a set of three prestigious accreditations: AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA, awarded to business schools around the world. Institutions that hold the Triple Crown are recognized as being among the best globally in their field. It is a confirmation of the highest quality of our graduates’ diplomas and a testament to our institution’s excellence at the highest level. Only around 136 schools worldwide hold the Triple Crown, representing less than 1 percent of all business schools that have successfully undergone rigorous accreditation processes. These accreditations verify compliance with strict standards across all key areas of activity.
